BJ's Philosophy:

I learned everything I know from generous fellow photographers who shared their trade secrets with me. I believe that sharing our knowledge with others makes us better photographers and promotes the art and business of image making. Please visit the sites below for a world of information about making pictures. If you would like me to add your site please email me at bj@bjshots.com.

This is a list of websites I got from Epson.   These are sites of people who have exchanged links with me. I personally recommend them.

PennCamera These people are true professionals-the best in the business! when you visit D.C. stop by the E street branch where you are likely to rub elbows with some of the top photographers in the world. New York prices, mixed with Southern hospitality. Tell them I sent you.

Bernard Studios This site features wonderful travel photographs. Bernard was my first link exchange. He introduced me to the concept of exchanging links.

Hal Rummel Photographer extraordinare, terrific instructor, good friend. If you live in the Baltimore-Washington area and are interested in learning from the best check out his program at Catonsville Community College

Howard Community College Jan Starr and Peggy Feerick are superb photographers and instructors. Ruth Lloyd runs the darkroom with patience, a great photographic eye, and lots of love. Clarence Carvell, in addition to providing the funding for their terrific darkroom and serving as advisor is a moving force at the Silver Spring, Maryland Camera Club. You can't do better if you live near Columbia Maryland .

Check out Renee Comet's Studio web page for exquisite food photography. Renee's work has appeared in over 25 books and is featured weekly in the Washington Post Food section. She has assembled a tremendous team at her studio in downtown Washington D.C.
